A little about the science behind Neutrinos 

Neutrinos are incredibly tiny, have almost no mass, and pass through ordinary matter virtually undetected. Despite their elusive nature, they are some of the most abundant and important particles in the universe. 

Because neutrinos interact so weakly with matter, they can travel across the cosmos completely unimpeded and unbiased. 

While Photons (light particles) from the Big Bang were trapped for about 380,000 years before the universe became transparent enough for them to travel. Neutrinos broke free just one second after the Big Bang, being the first element to bring clarification and information about the Universe beginning. 

Born in the nuclear fusion engines of stars or even on supernovas!  

When a massive star collapses into a supernova, 99% of its energy is released in a massive burst of neutrinos. Because these neutrinos escape the collapsing star hours before the shockwave creates visible light, detecting a sudden burst of neutrinos gives the anticipation we need to point out telescopes in that direction to find for the answers the cosmos have to offer. 

Right now, about 100 billion neutrinos from the Sun are flying with almost lightspeed through your thumbnail every single second, and you can’t feel a thing while they do their job!  

That mysterious super tiny particle exposes the curiosity of humanity to understand the Universe, its forces, past and future to allow us all to become greater, better, and smarter.
